Loch Insch Watersports

I was attracted to the texture on the bollards (carpet?) which is what lead me to make this photograph. I used a 5×4 camera, with a 150mm lens, which is the standard focal length for this format. If you look carefully, you’ll notice that even though I was stopped down to f/16, depth of field didn’t extend to the boats and boathouse in the distance. In this case, I feel that the differential focus concentrates attention back to the bollards, which were the reason for the photograph.
